Veep : Demons And Principalities In Public Sector

Image
I think Ghanaians now have the economic answers that they are looking for from the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia as to why the economy is in a very bad state at the moment. The astute politician has attributed his failure to manage the economy properly to demons and principalities in the country.  To him, it is only when you get to the public service that you will realise that you are not only dealing with flesh and blood but against demons and principalities as stated by Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12. He is however hopeful and positive that he is going to conquer these demons and principalities to put the economy back on track. Some of us are wondering why it has taken him too long to come to this realisation when we have so many pastors in the country who fight against demons and principalities? If anything at all Bishop Obinim, Reverend Obofuor or NPP's own Owusu Bempah could be giving anointing oil to anoint the whole of Ghana in 30 days. He said this in one of ...

Kay Smooth's "Seaman Jorley" Sets Dance Tone For Ghana

Image
Just when we thought the term "Seaman Jorley" was missing in the Ghanaian music lyrical archives, the ever smooth singer in GH has resurrected the term again and it is now the new term that people are singing about in Ghana. You can call Mr. Kay Smooth as the "Music Ressurrecter" of our time dropping back to back music miracles on the Ghanaian airwaves. The term "Seaman Jorley" which basically refers to a person's dearest one he cannot go without has been beautifully crafted in this new banger. The song is a very danceable Afro Pop tune which brings out the inner most versatility of the smooth singer. He dedicates the song to his friend in the industry, Kofi Kinaata who showed him much love in the recording of "Heavy Equipment" another song that the whole nation cannot stop singing. Kay Smooth is gradually carving a niche for himself in the industry as one that keeps your heart swimming in sweet melodies all the time. The reason is just wh...

Political Immaturity In Ghana

Image
I sense alot of immaturity in our Ghanaian politics it's as if our Politicians don't know their left from their right. I don't exclude anyone. How can you pay allowances that are not supposed to be paid, it is then refunded and some are calling for audit and that former first ladies should also return their allowances?  The whole system is confused and nobody knows what is right or wrong. It has to take one politician to wake up from bed early in the morning, find a loop hole in an area in the system goes to parliament, raises the issue and the whole of Ghana will sway to that direction. Opposition will also go and sleep think about it come back another time and raise a rebuttal and the whole country moves in another direction.  It then become a subject of discussion, social media will also takeover and the whole nation's focus is shifted to something that doesn't contribute to economic growth and development. It adds nothing to our per capita income and GDP. Afte...

Prenuptial And Postnuptial Marriage Contracts

Image
Whites who brought ordinance marriage have some serious dynamics to it. The black man just accepts it without considering the dynamics and goes to sign marriage certificates in court just because they are happy to be married. Don't ever make a mistake of signing a marriage contract if no one has fully explained your rights, responsibilities, duties, benefits, liabilities, forfeiture etc in it for you to clearly understand. In my own estimation and observation, 90% of Africans who sign marriage contracts don't even understand what they are signing. It is at the time of divorce that they realize they almost hanged their neck by signing the document. I mean how can you enter into a contract with someone when you don't understand what you are signing? Those who must carry the greatest blame for this blander is the marriage counselors and the churches because to them the possibility of divorce is ruled out because of Christ Jesus according to their own doctrines. They forsak...

Presidential Spousal Allowance Is Unconstitutional But Parliamentary

Image
Being a first lady in Ghana these days is becoming unattractive so now how can we motivate our daughters? Gone were the days we tell our daughters to learn hard in school so they can become a first lady but now if you even learn very hard and you become a first lady you are not entitled to an allowance or you have to refund it one day. Wives will now begin to discourage their husbands from standing for presidency if they will get nothing in return. You can trust the power of women in this regard. They will no more accompany their husbands on all the presidential campaign trails if care is not taken. So let me get this straight, the only benefit you get as a first lady is just prestige or what? But come to think of it, won't it be a nice idea if all our wives are on the payroll of organisations we work for? If that will be the case then companies will only employ bachelors and we will only accept to public offices those who are not married.  If all our wives were being pai...

Silencing The Truth With Threats

Image
The sitting MP of Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who is accused of killing Ahmed Sualey is threatening to beat the hell out of another journalist, Erastus Asare Donkor who covered the Ejura incident. This said Journalist reports for Media General, Joy Fm and we all saw on TV the spectacular coverage he gave the incident that saw two killed and several injured.  Quoting the MP who was making a comment about the reportage, he said "if he was the president of Ghana he will beat the hell out of the journalist who covered the incident" because to him the journalist was bias in his coverage and painted a bad publicity for the government to look violent which obviously can cause them some votes.  He went on further to chastise all journalists in Ghana by saying, "who do journalists think they are or do they think they are the most powerful in Ghana or what or that no one can touch them?". These are some of the unsavoury words that came out from the MP. This has been ...

Vision concerning this nation (08/07/2021)

Image
Let us pray for Ghana seriously. It's the second time I have seen great violence and this time around it was grave. Civilians were running helter skelter amidst gun battle from the military. We must pray, when I woke up great fear gripped me on my bed because it was so real as if it was happening in my room.  I don't want to cause fear and panic or sound pessimistic but I think in the realms things doesn't look good for our dear country. Take it or leave it but what I saw I have seen. I am not labelling this as a prophecy or calling myself a prophet in anyway and I need no praises or self-aggrandizement but what I saw is what I saw.  You can mark today's date and put my name there. I am not praying that this should happen but there is a reason God reveals things to His servants. If we don't watch our actions and if we don't pray, what I have seen twice concerning this land is not good.  Those who follow me on Facebook will attest that before the election I said ...
