Veep : Demons And Principalities In Public Sector
I think Ghanaians now have the economic answers that they are looking for from the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia as to why the economy is in a very bad state at the moment. The astute politician has attributed his failure to manage the economy properly to demons and principalities in the country.
To him, it is only when you get to the public service that you will realise that you are not only dealing with flesh and blood but against demons and principalities as stated by Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12.
He is however hopeful and positive that he is going to conquer these demons and principalities to put the economy back on track. Some of us are wondering why it has taken him too long to come to this realisation when we have so many pastors in the country who fight against demons and principalities? If anything at all Bishop Obinim, Reverend Obofuor or NPP's own Owusu Bempah could be giving anointing oil to anoint the whole of Ghana in 30 days.
He said this in one of his public speeches in Accra as monitored by us. The whole crowd seemed very suprise by this statement of how our own 'Adam Smith' of the North can come to this conclusion? If anything at all, we now understand why the Ghana Cedi has been dancing "Kpanlongo" against the dollar all this while.
Netizens have also gathered their own understanding of how Dr. Bawumia, the smooth talker was able to woo Samira Bawumia to become the second lady of this country. To some Netizens he must have promised her that one day he is going to make her a first lady so for now she should play the role of the second lady.
Others have also vowed that for making such a statement, they will not give him their support to become NPP presidential aspirant when our dear president leaves office in 2024 as he is one of the leading contenders for the flagbearership position.
Having experimented with the country for the past five years, closing people's business and causing massive unemployment in the country, this is the best explanation he could come up with after his attempt to revive the economy has failed woefully.
If this statement by the future presidential aspirant is not an admission of a failed government then I wonder what else the statement means? How long can we continue to experiment with the destinies of the people of Ghana by politicians who come to sweet talk us into voting them into power?
Does it mean from what the Vice President is saying, there are no demons and principalities in countries like USA, China, Germany, Australia, Japan, UAE etc? We virtually have about 30 million people in Ghana and we attribute economic mismanagement to demons and principalities?
How about China that has about 1.2 billion people? California in USA, just one state is bigger than Ghana several times and over but they manage to develop but in Ghana here our second man in government wants us to believe that demons and principalities are responsible for lack of development and economic growth?
It has not been long since the President of the Republic told teachers that "teaching does not produce millionaires" and then this statement from the Vice President also makes some of us to wonder if the country is actually in safe hands?
If the government is finding difficulty in managing the economy some of us would advice it to seek help from the various opposition parties in the country or even consult other African leaders like Mr. Paul Kagame of Rwanda who is doing so well with his country.
I realise that in this world when you promise people of heaven on earth without assessing the economic reality you will be blaming principalities and powers. Who forced the government to promise "One District One Factory" and "One Village One Dam"?
Does it mean that during NDC era there was no demons and principalities? And what if the government has been wrong all this while in it's approach of closing various banks and institutions in this country creating massive unemployment?
Some of us knew from day one that the way the government was rushing into closing down various banks in the country economic hardship will be the resultant effect and this is now for everyone to see.
You don't attack your own financial sector. It's like chemotherapy, where the chances are 50-50. You don't draw out your own blood to experiment with it as is done in chemotherapy as a last resort. The Financial sector is the blood of the economy so if you don't handle it carefully, this is what happens to your economy.
Well since the vice president is now quoting the Bible, let us all help him in prayers for Ghana as the same scripture he quoted admitted that we fight not against flesh and blood but principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places.
If the Veep wants to turn a born again Christian because he has realised now that only Christ Jesus can save the economy, he should invite the clergy to baptise him in the name of God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
