I don't know why young men will keep their beards like this in the name of fashion and civilization? Why will a man twist his hair to look like this and to achieve what purpose?   A middle aged man sighted in a video making rounds on social media has his right hand completely covered with bees supernaturally. The bees seem to be feasting on his hand and causing him real pain. They don't sting others close to the man but only himself. Sources claims he eats, sleeps, walks and wakes up with these bees. Not too long ago, two students although they qualified for admission into Achimota, were denied admission because they showed up with dreadlocks and the only excuse is that they are Rastafarians so they should be allowed to go to school with their dreadlocks. The matter gained grounds and came to the corridors of GES, the final verdict on the issue by GES is that Achimota should admit them. We all very well understand that you hair style is not a yardstick to measure your intelligence but in every institution too there are rules and regulations otherwise the managing director of a bank should be allowed to go to office in a boxer shorts. This decision to accept Rastafarians to school is very unacceptable and GES is very wrong to allow admission of Rastafarian students to Achimota High School.   Well, you can always trust politicians for always going against their own words. One social commentator wrote somewhere that when a politician tells you to look up you must rather look down. It's not been long since because of Covid-19, government promised us that we are not going to pay electricity and water bills for the next three months and after that was extended to another three months. The Ghana Police has issued a statement on 17th March 2021 to caution the general public against a new method being adopted by fraudsters to defraud both Mobile Money Account holders and Merchants at the same time. According to Ghana Police, the trick the fraudsters use is this; Someone (fraudster) send you a text message that you have won a lottery of a sort You are then called by a fraudster who will act as a representative of the telecommunication network (who in actual fact is a fraudster) He will then ask you to proceed to the nearest mobile money vendor to do some corrections on your account so you can cash out your win because their system is down. When you get to the vendor and you handover the phone call to him, he will then instruct the vendor to make an electronic payment from the vendor's account to the fraudster's account.   Former Auditor General, Mr. Daniel Yao Domelevo has described the request from the Board Chair of Audit Service, Professor Edward Dua Agyemang to hand over officially a comprehensive handover note to Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu to be preposterous.  From the wording of the letter from the Board Chair it will suppose that the use of the word "comprehensive" could mean a comprehensive handover note was not prepared before Mr. Daniel Yao Domelevo proceeded on leave which was ordered by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on 29th June, 2020 .   In other news reaching us indicates that at about 6:00 am yesterday 17th March 2021, Mr. John Pombe Magafuli aged 61 died in a hospital in Dar Salam. The cause of death is said to be heart attack. This very charismatic Tanzanian leader shot into international prominence with his staunch stands against the disease Covid-19. This man believes the disease doesn't exist and even if it does was orchestrated by humans for their own evil agenda.   Undoubtedly the political space in Ghana can be very interesting. Not too long we heard the Supreme Court ruling in favour of NPP as winners of the 2020 elections. This as expected was greeted by stiff rejection by some members of NDC and in particular Ex-President John Dramani Mahama. He doesn't believe the Supreme Court ruling was fair especially to him, the disregard of some due processes that had to be observed by the judges. In particular was the refusal for the cross examination of Jean Adukwei Mensah, the EC Chair and the overruling of some evidences by the Judges.
