BEGGING QUESTIONS ON 10 YEARS OSCRAS BAN ON WILL SMITH

 

The same year and for the first time Will Smith wins an Oscars he gets banned from attending future events for 10 good years because he smacked Chris Rock for quite an expensive joke on his wife's bald head. Hmmm! Don't tell me the devil was not in the details. 

But Will too he could have just joked about it after smacking him but he kept it serious. I love the well composed manner the Academy has come up with the sanction though. Chris Rock has joked about it in a gig at San Francisco saying he wasn't going to talk about it until he gets paid for it. 

The Comedian is being commended for his maturity in the whole situation but the question that begs for an answer is, was the joke necessary at all? Jada in all confidence took front seat at the show with her bald head exposed and wasn't expecting someone to joke about it or what? 

And I really don't also get this Oscar events, do we need Comedy to celebrate some comedians and actors in an event like this at all? Does the Academy also have such rules as to restrict violence on stage and why didn't security stop Will Smith when he was going on stage uninvited? All these questions needs to be answered not just the sanction.

Nzema Community Fuming With Fire Over Prof. Gadzekpo's Comment On LGBTQ+

 Well I don't know whether to finally admit that school knowledge doesn't necessarily make you a wise person in life as clearly Professor Audrey Gadzekpo in her recent comment about the LGBTQ+ anti-gay bill has gotten to prove that point very clearly.  In her comments she claims as a research person and a professor she knows the cultures of two particular tribes in Ghana being the Ga people and Nzema people accept gays. This comment by her doesn't sit well at all with my people. Yes, I said my people because I myself I am an Nzema from Princess Town in the Western Region.  I don't know how old the Professor is herself to be making that assertion or the evidences she has to be justifying that kind of comment but in my more than four decades of existence on earth never have I for once heard that our culture as Nzema people accept gays as part of our culture.
