Truth Corner : Why Did Jesus Come To This Earth?

I ask myself all the time, why did Jesus Christ take on the form of flesh, came to suffer and die for mankind, for our sins? Could he not just be in heaven and then press the right nods for us to be saved here on earth without having to go through all the human journey of coming to the earth and dying out of it like we are all subject to? Can't the president of Ghana just be here in Ghana and conduct his business with his foreign counterparts but he sometimes have to travel outside the country to meet them? You must understand that your presence in a given situation is very paramount at times.

Salvation was a task given to Jesus by his father, God and only he can fulfil that mandate. Angels, 24 elders, seven spirits of heaven, cherubims, seraphims and all the heavenly hosts have their mandate and assignment from the creator, God. The mandate of Jesus was to save man, bring man back to God by the ultimate sacrifice which is shedding of blood. Blood sacrifice is always needed to establish a particular purpose here on earth and even in heaven. The people of darkness, they know this very truth and practice it well. Any kingdom, religion, secret soceity, occult group or fraternity that does not offer blood sacrifice is a joke and there is no power in it. That is why God needed to sacrifice the blood of his own son to destroy the sinful flesh but for his spirit to rise in holiness as we all believers will become.

The following are the reasons why Jesus came to this earth :

1. Jesus came observe the rules of nature, he wanted to feel human.
2. He wanted to identify with us and know what we pass through himself as humans. At times I find it difficult to believe people who have not been in my shoes but claim to understand me. Jesus came to be in our shoes to know how it feels.
3. He wanted to prove humans that we can be as holy as he is. He wanted to prove to us that holiness is not the preserve of spirits but humans can also be holy.
4. He came to show us how to live and the true way to heaven.
5. He came to heal the sick, cast out demons and raising the dead. If he did it from heaven without witnesses we would not believe him.
6. He came to establish his kingdom here on Earth through the church system. He kept on telling his disciples that the kingdom of God has come. In the Lord's prayer he asked to pray for God's kingdom to come. I call it the MOTION KINGDOM.
7. He came to sacrifice himself so show us to be selfless and be there for others. That is the only way a new convenant can be established between us and God, through blood. Atoning for your sins by sacrificing sheeps and goats does not mean you will go to heaven.
8. He came to reconcile us to God by his death on the cross. Reconciliation means we have now made peace with God after Adam fell in the garden of Eden.
9. He came here to make friends that will help him spread the gospel, the disciples.
10. He came to give and show us how to have more faith in God. He taught us to have faith that moves mountains.
11. He came to show us it is possible for a man to be close to God.
12. He came to destroy our enemy, Satan and take our power and authority back for us.
13. He came to introduce the holy Spirit to us and leave him here with us to do his bidding.
14. He came to explain more the laws of Moses and teach us about sin.
15. He came to give us everlasting life
16. He came to fulfil his father's will here on earth and give us expectation of the end to come and that we should prepare ourselves for his second coming.
17. He came to heal the broken hearted, to preach the gospel to the poor, give sight to the blind and preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
18. He came to exchange our poverty for his wealth.
19. He came to teach us how to love one another
20. He came to give us keys to the kingdom of God that whatever we bind here will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on Earth will be loosed in heaven
21. He came to show us his works so we can do greater works than him. He came to set examples of greater works we could do.
22. He came to reprove all the Jewish leaders of their hypocrisies.
23. He came to connect man back to God not indirectly but directly.
24. He came to give peace to his followers in a troubled world.
25. He came to seperate good from evil.
26. He came to set families at war, father against son, mother against daughter, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law etc
27. He came to takeover our burdens and give us his light yoke
28. He came to show us the truth, the way and the life.
29. He came to bring us from the bondage of darkness to light.
30. He came to give us life and life abundantly.
31. He came to deliver us from the powers of darkness
32. He came to nail curses in our lives on the cross of Calvary.
33. He came to overcome the world and the wickedness in it.
34. He came to display his father's glory here on earth.
35. He came to fulfil all the prophecies spoken about him by earlier prophets.
36. He came to give us power to become sons of God.
37. He came to preach the gospel to the dead in hell for them to repent. That tells you when a human die you don't just ascend straight to heaven but you wait under the earth until there is judgement. Those who ascended straight to heaven like Abraham, Elijah, Moses, Jesus already have a special place with God but we must all wait under the earth till the judgement day. During rapture people will also be caught up to heaven both the dead and the living. Judgement is not for the righteous but for sinners and never think we are going to form a long queue for everyone to be judged one by one as painted by some people. Where your soul will remain permanently is the judgement you have receive. I call it an AUTOMATIC JUDGEMENT.
38. He came to save not only the Jews but to the Gentiles to which we are all part now.
39. He came to give us gifts and offices in his ministry. Prophets, Apostles, Teachers, Miracle Workers, Evangelists etc. Such gifts as Love, Patience, Righteousness, Joy etc.
40. He came to bless us all according to his father's will and teach us how to pray to be blessed and protected.

This and more reasons did Jesus come to the earth. Learn them and have knowledge of them. Knowledge they say is power. This will give you power over evil at anytime at all when dealing with Satan or faced with temptation. This will give you hope and faith in your service and worship to God.

I will expand this message in the space of time. This is just a tip of the iceberg. There is too much to write on this topic that if I don't end it now I can never end writing about it.

To be continued...

God bless you as you read. My name is Emmanuel Quayson, a servant of God.
