Seeing and entering God's kingdom : By Emmanuel Quayson

 


John 3:3 Jesus said unto him except a man be born again he cannot SEE the kingdom of God.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of God.

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound there of, but canst not tell whence it cometh and whither it goeth: so is everyone that is born of the spirit.

The above scriptures tells us the idealogy of Jesus about who a true repentant Christian and a child of God is based on these processes. You must be born of the spirit first before you can even see the kingdom of God even before entering into the kingdom. There is a seeing bit of this revelation which is being born again by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour and deciding to lead a new and a repented life from henceforth and there is an entering part of the kingdom of God where you must be baptised by water and receiving of the holy spirit.

Without water baptism and the holy ghost baptism you cannot enter God's kingdom. If you are just born again you can only see the kingdom like Moses saw Canaan but was not able to enter but to enter the kingdom you must pass through water baptism and also receive the holy spirit. The holy spirit is your spiritual identification that you are born of God and qualifies you to enter God's kingdom.

Alot of churches and Christians today only end at the born again part which is the repented life in Christ but don't go ahead with the water baptism and the spirit baptism part. This makes their calling incomplete. Jesus himself was baptised by John and the Bible says the heaven opened and the spirit of God descended on him like a dove. Jesus became born again, didn't end there but went ahead to receive both water and spirit baptism.

It is important to get to this three stages, being born again, water baptism and spirit baptism. Some school of thought put water and spirit baptism under being born again but I separate them as the above scriptures tells you been born again only allows you to SEE the kingdom but to ENTER you must have water and spirit baptism so I see it to be three stages.

Anyway it goes on to talk about how those who are possessed by the spirit of God operates in verse 8. It says they are like the wind which blows but one cannot tell where it came from or where it goes. That is the life of those born of the spirit. You cannot calculate their steps or their ways, you cannot understand their lives, they are a mystery, God directs them.

I speak of myself as a testimony. I live a life where apart from certain areas that must be planned, I literally don't plan anything in my life. I just leave it to God and he directs me every single day. Infact the things I do today, I never thought of doing them yesterday. That is how my life has been like. Those who are born of the spirit are like a robot in the hands of God. You don't know where God is taking you to or will do with you the following day, minute, second or hour.

Infact all the messages I write, I never think about it the previous day, God just drops it in my spirit now and I just flow. There are things I do I never thought of before, that is how those born of God's spirit operate, you can see a mighty hand and power directing your affairs, every part of your life. I am not in control of myself, God controls every department of my life. If you ask me what I will be doing tomorrow, I don't know because I have lived like that with God for years and everyday he brings something new in my way for me to do. So I always say if my enemies study my life and design some evil for me in my future they are making a big mistake because God directs every aspect of my life on daily basis.

Nzema Community Fuming With Fire Over Prof. Gadzekpo's Comment On LGBTQ+

 Well I don't know whether to finally admit that school knowledge doesn't necessarily make you a wise person in life as clearly Professor Audrey Gadzekpo in her recent comment about the LGBTQ+ anti-gay bill has gotten to prove that point very clearly.  In her comments she claims as a research person and a professor she knows the cultures of two particular tribes in Ghana being the Ga people and Nzema people accept gays. This comment by her doesn't sit well at all with my people. Yes, I said my people because I myself I am an Nzema from Princess Town in the Western Region.  I don't know how old the Professor is herself to be making that assertion or the evidences she has to be justifying that kind of comment but in my more than four decades of existence on earth never have I for once heard that our culture as Nzema people accept gays as part of our culture.
